Intro
Oxigen 5 is currently a promotions service spearheaded by Thimuhangwi Netshilinganedza (Thimu) since October 2010. After designing random designs for multiple isolated projects, Thimu gave into the idea of branding his work.  This happened after he identified a certain unique touch to his designs that made his work stand out. Believing that he had more to offer besides expertise in graphic designs, he broadened the business scope of his newly created brand by adding 5 divisions which would later form the current promotions service, Oxigen 5 (promotions).

Background
Thimu has always been an aspiring artist with a passion for analysis, not only in artwork – but business dynamics and every flow of logic that caught his interest. Although he compromised his artistic passion for academic purposes, it proved inevitable when his musical side-project began as a group ‘SALO.E’. He designed graphics for the group, which stood out more than the music itself, as the genre didn’t receive a warm welcome from the South African community then. He followed the lead of his passion and made impressions with each design, characterized by the use of harmonized cool colors, calm glows and vibrant flares. He created the symbolic logo of the group SALO.E and made numerous associated wallpapers. This got him praise from peers who thought of him as a designer before he could embrace the title. After identifying certain uniqueness to his design style, and exploring different kinds of art styles, musically and graphically. He finally decided to brand his work under Oxigen.

Oxigen 5 inception
Under Oxigen, he did few low budget designs for his peers before moving on to B2B ventures. This made him realize he had more to offer through his business analytical habits. He identified 5 ways in which he could help a client benefit from Oxigen. As time passed while trying to find a way to overcome Oxigen’s restricting association with graphics design,  the idea of creating 5 divisions that would help client promote their services and products better than before,  came to fruition. Oxigen 5 was born, with 5 divisions with multi-promotional capabilities. Namely

 O5 studios -  Graphics Designs division
x-con (previously known as Ox-Connect) - promotional networking division
Genomix Media  - Electronic media  promotions division
I Image  - Individual focused promotions divisions originally aimed at public figures and models
20 live  - promotions through use of physical artifacts

All these divisions combined to create the current service now known as Oxigen 5 (promotions)

Additional info:
As the Promotions service slowly grows , so does the scope of services it offers. Although the other 4 divisions aren’t as fully developed and functional as O5 studios ( Graphic Designs division). Thimu slowly builds on them as time goes on, with 20 Live currently non-functional and left behind since its capital intensive. With growing internet presence and associations, even if Oxigen 5 hasn’t achieved a year of its growth, it proves to be a promising participant in the business community.

Did you know :

·         O5 studios is gathering artworks and artists under title O5 society, aimed at bringing more variation and taste to O5 studios’ designs and services.
·         Oxigen 5 rebranded late April 2011 in order to differentiate between Oxigen 5 as promotions and O5 studios as graphics design, since Oxigen was associated solely with  graphic designs.
·         Oxigen 5 since inception has been running a radical “no satisfaction, no pay” work ethic, which meant if client didn’t like/approve work they wouldn’t pay for it, provided they don’t make use of the service. This was resolute confidence in proving the quality of service Oxigen 5 offered. If work was under par – the incompetence would be investigated and resolved.
